CenTex SHRM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIP 
Partnership with Temple College

PURPOSE 

CenTex SHRM has partnered with Temple College to promote SHRM certification among Human Resources and business professionals. Through this partnership:

• All CenTex SHRM members receive a discount on the SHRM Preparation Course offered by Temple College.
• In addition, CenTex SHRM will reimburse the SHRM Certification Exam fee for up to five members who meet the scholarship requirements.

SCHOLARSHIP PROCESS

The scholarship program is administered by the CenTex SHRM Scholarship Committee, which includes the CenTex SHRM President, President-Elect, Director of Professional Development, and Treasurer.                                                                                                                 

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:

• 1. Be a current CenTex SHRM member in good standing.

  2. Be enrolled in the Temple College SHRM Certification Course.

  3. Be registered to take the SHRM Certification Exam between December 1, 2026 and February 15, 2027.

  4. Pass the SHRM Certification Exam.

  5. Provide proof of passing the exam and payment of the exam fee out-of-pocket.

The committee will bring their recommendations to the board of directors for approval.
