CENTEX SHRM IMPACT  AWARDS

Each year, CenTex SHRM honors local HR professionals and organizations that make a significant impact to not only our community, but the HR profession. Please consider nominating a special HR professional or organization you feel has made an impact!

GUIDELINES

  • Self-nomination is allowable and encouraged.
  • Nominees entered into more than one category are only eligible to win one award.
  • To be considered, all submissions must be completed in their entirety. 

AWARDS TIMELINES

  • Nominations Open: October 1st
  • Nominations Deadline: November 15th
  • Recipients Recognition: December (specific date TBD)

CENTEX SHRM IMPACT AWARD CATEGORIES


HR STUDENT LEADER AWARD

  • The HR Student Leader Award is presented to a student who has put effort into developing themselves and others in the Human Resource profession.
  • Must have participated in at least one CenTex SHRM event during the year
  • Be enrolled full-time or part-time at their university/college.
  • Showcase their support to the HR community within the university and/or community.

NOMINATION FORM


ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR AWARD

  • CenTex SHRM or SHRM national member
  • Participated in more than one CenTex SHRM event during the year
  • Showcase this organization’s dedication to grow and develop the Human Resource profession within their organization and impact in their workplace and community

NOMINATION FORM

HR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

  • The HR Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to the individual that best represents the Human Resource Profession daily.
  • Must be CenTex SHRM or SHRM national member
  • Candidate must have 25+ years or more in the HR industry

Showcase the following:

  • Dedication to the Human Resources profession
  • Any professional credentials and accomplishments
  • Professional involvement
  • HR leadership

HR PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR AWARD

    • The HR Professional of the Year award is presented to an individual who has dedicated their working lives and efforts to become outstanding human resource professional in their organizations, industries, and Central Texas community.
    • Must be CenTex SHRM or SHRM national member
    • Currently employed as an HR professional
    • Has 24 or less years of HR experience

    Showcase the following:

    • Consistently demonstrates proven successes, enthusiasm, and support of the HR profession
    • Applies professional experience in the community
