Chapter officers’ nominations and their election shall occur each August at a regular meeting. Annually a President-Elect shall be nominated and elected. The President-Elect position upon completion of one year term automatically moves to President, which is a one year term. Upon completion of one year term as President, President moves to Past President, one year term. Secretary and Treasurer shall be elected for two year terms. Nominations for Treasurer shall be made in odd numbered years and nominations for Secretary shall be made in even numbered years. Staggered elections allow for continuity within the board from year to year. The current elected officers are noted below.



Heidi is the Talent Acquisition Manager for McLane Company.  She has been a member of the CenTex SHRM since 2012. She currently holds the position of President and has served in past years as President-Elect, Program Chair, Conference Chair, and Communications Director of the Chapter. Heidi is a business professional with expertise in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Account Management, Sales and Marketing, Project Management, and Operations Management. Heidi has 18 years of HR experience and over 24 years of management experience providing solution focused support to companies in the healthcare, telecommunications, retail, IT, administrative, manufacturing, and supply chain industries. Heidi obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. Heidi also holds her Professional Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute and her SHRM-CP from the Society of Human Resources Management.  Heidi is passionate about the chapter providing opportunities for HR professionals to develop a local network of HR business partners that support each other in the world of work, as well as, obtain PDCs on current, relevant, and actionable monthly trainings and the opportunity to grow professionally. 


Julie Escamilla is the Director of Workforce Education for the Business and Continuing Education (BCE) Division at Temple College. She began working at Temple College in 2015 and has served in various roles in BCE. Julie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Texas A&M University - Central Texas. . She obtained her Masters in Higher Education Leadership at Texas A&M University – Central Texas. Julie has a passion for helping others learn and grow! 


Anna Musulin is currently the Human Resources Manager for Omega Builders in Temple, TX. She has over ten year’s experience in the HR field in healthcare and construction, and has loved every year of it!  She currently handles all human resource duties for Omega, including recruiting, benefits, employee relations and satisfaction, payroll and more.   She received her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from Texas A & M Central Texas in 2010.  She earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in 2013 and her SHRM-CP in 2015. 


Amy Hayes is currently the HR Director of Wellness and Benefits Temple Independent School District in Temple, TX. She is an experienced Human Resources (HR) professional with over 18 years in the field. She received her degree in Human Resources Management from Tarleton State University, earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in 2009 and her SHRM-CP from SHRM in 2015.

Amy has worked in all areas of HR to include, but not limited to: Employee Relations, Staffing and Recruitment, Leadership and Employee Development, Benefits/Compensation, and Training/Performance Development.

Amy is passionate about helping businesses make the most of their resources and talent and helping employees make the most of their role in the organization.


Amanda Eads has an Associate Degree in Business Administration, two Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration and Business Management, and a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. She is an adjunct instructor at Texas A&M University – Central Texas. She has been employed there since June 2011. Amanda mostly teaches Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development and Business Communications, but also has experience teaching in Recruiting, Compensation and Business Ethics. Amanda is also the sponsor for the SHRM student group on campus, HR Warriors Leadership Team. Amanda has a passion for making sure people know their worth and capability of greatness.



With over 25 years of Human Resource and Operations experience, Brenda brings her expertise and specialized skill set to Cen Tex SHRM.  Her successful career includes working as an Executive Director in senior living communities and advancing her career in HR to Vice President of Human Resources at First Texas Bank. Brenda has a specific style and approach to balance risk-management and employee satisfaction.


Mari Perez is the current Business Services & Career Center Supervisor for Workforce Solutions of Central Texas in Killeen. She has over eight years of experience in human resources management, education and administration. Throughout her work experience, she has ensured employee retention, training, and development in Japan, China, and USA. She has had the opportunity to manage a multicultural work environment by understanding key differences of over 15 different nationalities represented within the company. Mari obtained her Master’s degree in International Studies, which opened opportunities for her to live, study, and work abroad. She is passionate about serving the community by bringing people and jobs together.


Belinda Richardson, PHR, is currently the Human Resource Manager at McLane Company. She has been working as a professional in Human Resources for the last 16 years and specializing in healthcare for the last 13 years. Belinda earned her Bachelors of Human Resources from Tarleton State University-Central Texas. She also holds a certification of Professional in Human Resources (PHR) accredited through Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Belinda brings extensive experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and leadership development.


Alandra Parker is employed with the Armed Services YMCA and has an Associate Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, and is a recent MBA graduate with a concentration in Human Resources from Texas A&M University – Central Texas. She is very active in the SHRM Student HR Warriors Leadership Team student organization at TAMUCT, where she serves as Alumni Representative.  Alandra is very passionate about student success in the HR field.

Alandra’s volunteer affiliations also include the Disabled American Veterans Associations where she serves as an intake processing specialist for Veterans.  She also holds a position on the TAMUCT Alumni Board assisting in Alumni Recruitment.

April Metcalf is the Director of Human Resources for Bell County, a National SHRM member and Director of Membership for Texas SHRM. April has served on the Central Texas HRMA board for a couple of years serving in roles such as Membership, President, and Treasurer. 

April has worked in Human Resources for over 25 years, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Western Governor’s University and recently began working on her Master of Legal Studies in Human Resources with Trinity Law School. April holds her SHRM-SCP certification and truly enjoys serving with and for other. 


Jody Askins is a consultant in organizational learning and performance. She has served as Executive Director of Business and Continuing Education Division at Temple College, Director of Professional Development for the Investment Management Division of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, and Director for Human Resources, Sales and Marketing for Wilsonart International. She has a Master’s degree from Mary Hardin Baylor, and maintains her Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) from the Association of Talent Development.

Jody’s passionate about personal and professional growth!  That’s her love for HR; people!


Stephanie Branham is the Human Resources Manager of Allumed, Inc. She handles all HR duties for both locations, in Temple and Grand Prairie, to include recruiting employees, composing and maintaining policies, administering benefit programs, responding to employee concerns, and handling unemployment cases. She has been employed with the company since 2002, during which time she has also managed the Accounts Receivable Department, all company contracts, and assistance in accreditation compliance.

Stephanie graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology. She is pursuing a Master's in HROD online through the University of Louisville. More recently, she attended the inaugural Human Resource Management Academy through Temple College in order to prepare for the first round of testing for the new SHRM certification exams. She obtained her SHRM-SCP credentials in July of 2015. 

In addition to her board role with CTHRMA, Stephanie is also a member of Leadership Temple’s class of 2020 through the Temple Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Belton Council of PTA’s, and Parliamentarian of a Belton Elementary School PTA. Stephanie is also in the finalization process of publishing a children’s book on punctuation. This will be her first book in a “Grammar is Fun!” series.

Stephanie has two children who are very active in extracurricular activities.
